Farm Day...YeeHaw!

We've been having a little fun around here talking about the farm.  Today we focused on H the Horse.  I planned a review activity using some horseshoes. Here is a video to demonstrate a quick lesson to review H or lesson 6 with your students:

I set them up leading to our classroom.  As I took the children on our walk we followed the horseshoes and stopped at each one.

We turned each print over and found something we all could do or practice.  I included reading short words, recognizing letters, sounds and numbers, and doing simple activities. 

The kids really loved it!
