Making Muffins

Mmmmm...Making Muffins on "M" day!  This is an ideal opportunity for children to practice counting.  Plan to make some simple muffins.  Have each child count every ingredient you use. Everyone can take a turn stirring the batter 10 times.  Mmmmarvelous!

Along with making muffins you have to teach the song "Do you know the Muffin Man?"  How fun is that!?!  After your children get the tune down, reinforce teaching COLORS by switching up the words and sing---
