Building And Measuring With Legos

Lego measuring is a great hands on activity for counting and measuring. Simply, find objects around the house and stack the blocks until the blocks are as high as the object. Then, ask the child to count the total number of blocks. (Encourage the child to estimate or guess how many blocks they think the object will be before they begin.)
